Our family used to go to Big Pond every summer for two weeks. We always stopped at Halls when we arrived in Otis. My dad loved the cheese that they sold and my brother and I would look at the "Swamp Swivel" mounted on the wall. Ida Hall would make us an ice cream soda while she and my Mom would talk. Those were the days.

Last year just before a major snowstorm I need to find a roasting pan for the giant turkey I wanted to cook. I didn't feel like driving all the way to Pittsfield and get stuck in the storm so I called my friend and she said. "Go to Hall's." Well I did. And they had the roasting pan.I have been back there many times since to buy a lot of things most recently live bait which they carry during fishing season.If you are in a pinch they carry mylar party balloons and a ton of "off the wall" things too.
